Refuge Station Training
KEY CONSIDERATIONS
Mine rescue operations are extremely complex and involve a tremendous amount of risk and may take several hours or days. Through a commitment to research, planning and training, your chances of survival can greatly improve. Since most companies don't encounter such operations on a routine basis, the Refuge Station (Permanent or Portable) program will provide the workers with the necessary fundamentals of operating a refuge station while waiting for a rescue. Managing risk includes mandatory continuing education and skills documentation programs. The job-specific training is realistic, practical and controlled in a safe environment. Our program reinforces learning through a variety of hands on approaches and your instruction is always customized to resolve specific challenges presented your agency and their personnel.
