FIRST RESPONDER PROGRAMS

KEY CONSIDERATIONS:

  • All participants must have current CPR level "C" and First Aid certification.
  • Approximately one month before the course begins participants will receive the First Responder Provider Manual to review.
  • Canadian OnSite Medical can provide this course to virtually any community, industrial site or worksite in Canada.

OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDES:

  • A 66-hour, hands-on session taught by professionals with field experience.
  • Short lectures, video instruction and practical exercises.
  • A complete description of the role of the First Responder.
  • Instruction on how to use First Responder equipment safely and effectively.
  • An overview of the basic functions of an EMS system.
  • Interactive sessions on how to manage medical emergencies such as unconscious patients, heart attacks, respiratory problems and other medical emergencies.
  • Each student with First Responder Certification after completing the course.
